Help the YW for Girls Camp

Bling! Bling! Bling! The Young Women in the stake are in need of
"bling" for a service project they are doing at Girl's Camp next
month. Last year we decorated baseball hats for the Shriner's
Hospital in Salt Lake. We used buttons, beads, gems, fabric paint,
ribbon, etc. Our efforts were so appreciated that they have requested
that we do it again. If you have any "bling" you would like to
donate, please contact your Ward Camp Director or Sara Otto from the
2nd Ward (442-1203 or 936-5827). Sister Otto will pick up donations
if necessary, or you can give them to your camp director.

Relief Society Retreat

Dear Sisters!

We are excited to announce our Relief Society overnight activity, so please mark your calendars for Friday, May 20th. We will spend the night in a cabin in Garden Valley, just over an hour away. More than just a social opportunity, we are truly taking this month's Enrichment Meeting on the road. With a focus on the important relationships in our lives, we will have two workshop/classes: 1) Improving your relationship with the Lord, and 2) A look at improving all other relationships based on the book "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. There will also be crafts and games, as well as good food and fun. Please make arrangements to attend - it won't be the same without YOU!

We will arrange carpool transportation with several different departure times on Friday. Please look for a sign-up coming around this Sunday. Also, if you have a nursing baby, don't let that stop you. Bring your baby and come! It's a large cabin with lots of private bedrooms and your baby is welcome.

If you have any questions, please contact Shelbie Loomis. We can't wait for this terrific activity. See you there!

May Marriage Builder

The "Marriage Builder" for the month of May for the sisters is to remember to APPRECIATE your husband. When it's your turn to offer the family prayer, remember to express your appreciation in the prayer for the things that your husband does for your family. When it's your children's turn to pray, remind them to express thanks that Dad works hard for the family, or that Dad helped them with something. Keep it simple and sincere.

BryLeigh Kruse is HOME

Great news today Sisters!

Yesterday after church, Ally, (BryLeigh's birth mother) knocked on the Kruse's door and handed back the sweet baby girl to Brandon and Sarah.

The Kruse family is once again reunited and would like to express their gratitude to all of you who prayed for resolution on their behalf. Thank you, thank you for the support.

Now, they start from the beginning again. Ally will appear in front of the judge once again to sign away her rights. Yes, she did do that before, and YES it is irrevocable in the state of Idaho. There is not a "waiting period", once the papers are signed, it is done. But, each judge has their own opinion and this particular judge decided to award the baby back to Ally. From this point, it will take about 7 weeks to have the process concluded, (again!). I am including this explanation so that Sarah won't have to go over it again and again. The Kruse family is focused on being positive and moving forward instead of being angry and bitter over things that could have or should have happened differently.

Please continue to pray for them. These next seven weeks will seem like an eternity to Sarah and Brandon. They are ready and willing to talk so feel free to shower them with your love!

Roslyn
