Request from our Young Women

Dear Sisters of our ward,

I am searching for a particular item to use for our New Beginnings coming up next month. For part of our display we want to have the three white dresses and are in need of a mannequin of some sort. (I was thinking of one of those body forms you use when sewing.) If any of you happen to have one, or know of anyone that would have one, that we could borrow that would be fabulous!!! We only need it for one day and I will return it as soon as we are done. You can either email or call me. Thanks so much!!!

Anderson's Sealing

Dear Everybody,

Great news - Andrea and Casey Anderson would like to invite everyone to join them at the Boise Temple on Saturday, January 22nd. Casey will be receiving his endowment at the 10:30 session and their family sealing will follow at 12:30 p.m.
Yay!

Please Pray for their Family

Dear Sisters,

The Kruz family has asked me to notify you that they have been required to return baby BryLeigh to her birth mother. Sarah and Brandon are heartbroken, and are not ready to answer questions or talk about details. Please pray for their family. They would like to grieve privately for now and will let us know when they are ready to talk.

Ward Choir

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would let you know the time agreed on for choir practice is 1:30 Sunday afternoons at my house. The reasoning behind this is as follows:
- It is enough after church that there is time to eat, even if someone has a meeting directly after church
- It ends early enough that those who want a nap could still fit one in.
- It ends early enough so as not to conflict with family dinners.
If this time does not seem to work as the year goes on we can change it. Thank you for your patience!

Relief Society Assignments

Hi Girls,

Temple Cleaning
Our ward is assigned to provide two women to help clean the temple on Monday, January 24th. So far I have one volunteer. Angela Spaulding would like to be the other volunteer, if someone will take her precious babies that morning. Please call me if you can help.

Kitchen Cleaning
Our Stake leaders are asking us to do a deep cleaning in the kitchen at the church this month. Each ward will do this one time per year. We will be doing this on Thursday, the 20th and I have broken the task down into smaller jobs to spread out the work...and the blessings! Here is what I have so far, please choose a blank spot and call me to fill your name in:

9:00
Cleaning the ovens, stovetops and burners
Megan Kotter
Alysa Bishop

11:00 Clean the refrigerator and freezer, inside and out.
Amy Weaver
Amy Harris
Brenda Nelson

1:00
Clean all cupboards and drawers, inside and out.
Chyrisa Hanley
Leti Ashcraft
Angie Bowers

3:00 Scrub sinks and countertops

5:00
or after Sweep, then scrub the floor

So we just need people to cover the last two tasks. These can also be family projects if you would like to involve your kids and husbands!

Thanks for all your help!
Roslyn
